At the 8 May, 2024 RUSI-VI luncheon, Scott Usborne, President of RUSI-VI presented his talk entitled The Forgotten General: The Life of Sir Percy Lake. Sir Percy was a Lieutenant-General when he retired to Victoria and had previously served in several colonial wars and as an army commander during the First World War. In Victoria he was the first President of our own Royal United Services Institute of Vancouver Island (RUSI-VI) in 1927.
